ABOUT THE ARTWORK

In the summer of 1996, I was vacationing on the island of La Maddalena, Sardinia. I had my Nikon with me and took some photos of the villa, with its strange architecture reminiscent of the rounded rocks below. A few days later, upon my return to Rome, I was inspired to create a painting inspired by the photograph of the villa. What you see is the result.
