ABOUT THE ARTWORK

In 1996, my wife and I went on vacation to the seaside in Sardinia. One sunny and windy day, we were alone on a deserted beach. The image of her back, full of pink and yellow hues against the azure blue of the sky and sea, remained etched in my mind. A few days later, upon returning to Rome, I felt the need to paint this other image as well. What you see is the result of that memory.
